Here you can find our Best Execution Policy.
- Start with opening the Adviser Portal and logging in.
- Locate your client in the system, either via the Client tab in the top menu, or by using the Client Search function, and open their client record.
- Open the relevant account, and within the account record click on the 'Investments' tab to view the investments and uninvested cash that the client currently holds.
- Click Account actions and Sell.
- Here you'll see a list of the portfolios existing holdings. Enter the number of units or amount in £ that you want to sell off from the different assets. An estimated total value will be calculated based on the current market values.
- Then select Reinvest. A search field appears below where you can locate the funds/assets you want to switch to. If you choose to reinvest less than 100% the remaining part will be kept as cash.
- Click Review and a summary of the selections will be presented as well as details of the initial and ongoing charges, average annual charge and illustrative, projected and total charges over 5 years.
- Select Submit to complete the instruction. A confirmation message appears on screen.
- The sell request can now be found under Pending Transactions and the corresponding purchase orders can be found under New Investments.
- Trades are now routed to market and executed. This is done on a contract settlement basis to limit the client's time out of the market i.e. we do not wait for the sales to settle before sending the buys. We send the buys as soon as the sales have been executed and we have a contract note from the fund manager.
- a contract note is made available to the client in the Client Portal within 24 hours of the order being executed. The client will also receive an email notification about this. Contract notes are also accessible within the Adviser portal in the Notifications tab.
