How to create a Corporate Client
You can open a general investment account (GIA) held in the name of a company.
To open the account your client will need to sign the terms and conditions - Platform Terms & Conditions.
Before you start the following details will be required during the account opening process.
- Company registration number
- The company must be registered in the UK
- Company address
- Bank details
- Name, address, date of birth and role of any stakeholders of the company / trust (see more on stakeholders below)
How to create a Corporate Client
- Go to the Adviser Portal and log in.
- Via the Clients tab in the top menu bar in the top right-hand corner, navigate to the create tab and select corporate client.
- Complete all mandatory fields with adviser and corporate details.
- Add all Stakeholders (directors, significant shareholders and partners/principals) to the application and add bank details. Please refer to the Stakeholder rules guide if you are unsure who to add - Stakeholder Rules
- Add bank details
- Complete the declaration
- Click Review to double check that all the information is correct and submit the Corporate account.
Once the account has been created and in a pending status, please email us with confirmation of the following to servicecentre@soderbergpartners.com.
- Client ID and Full Business name
- Principle office address if different to registered office
- Names of significant shareholders
- Certificate of Incorporation or Articles of Association
- Terms and conditions signed by all persons instructing on the account.
Söderberg will conduct a know your business (KYB) check and verify the account. Once verified Söderberg will inform you the account is active.
