The PPR tool has three reports:
Balance, Performance & Best/Worst Performers.
Balance
This report charts the balance of collective accounts over the selected period of time. This is overlayed with any capital movements that have occurred on the account providing a visual indicator as to why the client’s balance has increased or decreased other than the performance of the underlying investment.
Performance
This chart shows the performance of the selected accounts over desired date range. You are able to exclude either the money weighted or time weighted reports by clicking the label at the top of the chart. Please note that money weighted returns are calculated using the Newton-Raphson method.
Best/Worst performers
This report shows up to ten of the best and worst performing investments.
(Please note, that this is based on Time Weighted calculations and represents the total contribution to the overall performance of the selected accounts and does not indicate individual performance of each asset over the period.)
The graphic will show the monetary amount that each asset has contributed to the overall performance across the period, but by clicking on Amount – Performance slider, this will be re-displayed to represent the percentage that each asset has contributed to the overall portfolio performance.
