Advisory models cannot be rebalanced in bulk, this must be done per Account. The logic behind this being that if you do not have discretionary permissions, you will need to get your client's permission to instruct a rebalance, and you will likely action this as and when this is received.
DFM models can be rebalanced in bulk by the DFM only - as long as an account is linked to a model when the DFM triggers the rebalance, the holdings will be traded accordingly.
To conduct a rebalance on a client's account linked to either a DFM or an Advisory model, follow the steps below.
- Log in to the platform and locate the client, either via the client search bar or in the 'Clients' page:
- In the client record, click on the account you wish to rebalance in order to open it:
- Click on Account actions and select Rebalance account:
- A message will appear on screen confirming the account will be rebalanced using the model allocation, and asking if you wish to continue:
- Select continue, and you will then see a message confirming the rebalance instruction was successful:
- Trades can be viewed and tracked within the Pending transactions screen in the client's account record:
