In general terms, providing your client is not a “US Person” they will be able to open a Platform Account if they have:
- A UK address
- A UK Bank Account
- A FCA Authorised Adviser
We will run an automated AML/KYC check on all new clients to the platform.
Certain people, countries and political regimes have been “Sanctioned” (meaning they cannot use the UK Financial System) under international law, and this is why we also do a “Sanctions” check at the start of the relationship and periodically throughout. We will notify you if we detect an issue with one of your clients, but otherwise their account can be made active and their funds added to the platform.
