Transfers remain one of the biggest operational challenges across our industry, so we are excited to share this phase of transfer enhancements, designed to make managing in-flight transfers faster, clearer, and more efficient for advisers, and admin teams alike.
This release focuses on improving visibility, prioritisation, and workflow efficiency, reducing time spent chasing updates and helping you act sooner - all from within the adviser portal.
What’s included
Real-time transfer updates in one place
Inbound in-flight transfers will now display real time transfer updates, directly within the transfers workbench, removing the need to contact the Service Centre for progress updates. This creates a single source of truth and reduces unnecessary follow-ups.
- Transfer update events will refresh automatically as new information is received
- Users can mark client updates as complete - helping our Ops teams prioritise chasing activity more efficiently
Smarter transfer workbench filtering
Enhanced filtering makes it quicker and easier to find and action the right cases, helping users focus attention where it is needed most.
- Filter by Last Updated date to instantly surface recent activity
- Filter by Action Required tags, including Resubmit and Client action
- Rejected transfers are automatically flagged, reducing delays and rework
- Complete Action required tags once resolved
New dashboard cards for faster prioritisation
New dashboard cards provide an at-a-glance view of key transfer activity, making it easier prioritise.
- Rejected transfers awaiting resubmission
- Transfers awaiting client action
Each card links directly to a pre-filtered workbench view, reducing clicks and saving valuable time.
A simpler, more streamlined way to stay informed
As part of these enhancements, transfer updates will now be managed directly within the adviser portal rather than via email notifications.
Going forward, we will no longer send email updates for in-flight transfer activity, including when client action is required or where a transfer has been rejected. Instead, all updates and next steps will be clearly visible in one place - within the transfers workbench and dashboard tiles.
What this means for you:
- A single, reliable view of transfer progress without the need to track emails
- Clear visibility of where action is needed through dashboard tiles and Action required tags
- Faster prioritisation of work, with no risk of updates being missed in busy inboxes
- The ability to mark actions as complete, helping reduce unnecessary follow-ups and keeping transfers moving
Our internal controls and chasing processes will continue to support aged transfers, while advisers retain greater clarity and control over required actions. Where client or resubmission activity is needed, the relevant dashboard tiles will guide you directly to the right cases, allowing you to act quickly and efficiently.
