Please contact the new provider and they will get in touch with us either electronically or via post to request the transfer, depending on their internal processes. There is no paperwork on our side. We will contact you when we receive a transfer out request to confirm it has been received. We will place sell downs for cash transfers so there is no need to do this yourself ahead of time.
Please note, once a transfer out request has been confirmed by our transfers team, the account will be delinked from any model it is attached to. This ensures no rebalances occur during the transfer process and ensures the transfer is completed as fast as possible.
Should the transfer be cancelled for any reason, the account will need relinking to the model.
It is in our roadmap to further improve this process by adding an account status specifically for accounts with a transfer out, which will prevent buys and sells.
