In order for a transfer request to be accepted, the client address in the transfer request needs to match the address that the ceding provider has on file.
As part of the transfer in journey on the SPWM platform, you will have the option to enter an alternative address if this is different to what we hold.
We understand that it can be a hassle to have to go through the process of updating the client’s address with the ceding platform when the client will not be with them for much longer!
So, this way you can ensure the client’s details on their new plan are correct, which won’t interfere with our KYC checks, and you can also ensure that the transfer will not be rejected, delaying the whole process.
